- Does Encore Suite support Exchange Server, IMAP or POP3?
Encore Suite supports Exchange Server and POP3, but NOT IMAP.
- Is Encore Suite installed onto the server or onto each workstation?
Encore Suite is installed onto the user workstation. It does not affect the Exchange Server at the server side.
- What kind of maintenance and service schedule do you need for Encore Suite?
No maintenance is required.
- How does VIP scoring work?
VIP scoring is a patent pending method of selecting important emails from your inbox. Th method is based on the “view and reply” habits of the user. The more and quicker you reply to an email, the sender of that email becomes more important. The frequency and the response time increases the importance of the sender while keeping the email unread or deleting the email decreases the importance of the sender. With this method, Encore Suite adapts to the behavior of the user.
- What is a conversation?
There are two ways you can consider a group of emails to be a conversation. One is by matching the subject line (removing RE:, FWD:, etc.) of each email. Another way is to examine the “starter” transmission of the email. If two emails have the same “starter” email transmission, they are considered related. In Encore Suite, you can choose to view “Subject Match” only, or “Starter Email” match or both. You may also view this group by their individual email or combine them into one new email while removing the duplicate content and ordering them chronologically.
