Notifications

Notifications are used to inform stakeholders of task activity which may be important to the stakeholder.  The project manager sets up which events should trigger a notification and to which stakeholders the notifications should be sent.  The notification is sent out automatically when the event occurs via e-mail to the stakeholder. 

Notification setup and rules for Professional Edition are applies to the entire system across projects.  Notification setup for Workgroup/Enterprise Edition is set by project.
