Views is only use for non-Microsoft Project Plan. Recall that Folders actually hold the tasks while Views allow the user to filter tasks into significant collections. A View does not contains information but only contains a pointer (link) to the information found in the Folder. This means that though all View entries are removed the information still exists in the Folder. A task may appear in multiple Views, but there is only one copy of the Task. To access Views from the Project Center click the Reports button and select Views. Following the Adding Views instruction to setup the Views.
